RECIPE: EASY ASIAN CHICKEN THIGHS (with SUPER DELUXE Asian Sauce)
Seriously tender chicken in a ridiculously yummy sauce that makes dinner for four (or 4 meals prepped) crazy easy!
Season with salt and pepper, pour over the sauce and pop it into the oven...
...and then go do something else while the oven does the work for you.
Serve with grain of choice (the sauce is so yummy over a grain) and a side of steamed or stir-fried veggies for an easy, well-balance meal.
PREP TIME: 5-15 min*
COOK TIME: 50 min
8 chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
Salt & pepper
½ cup cup (120 ml) SUPER DELUXE Asian Salad Dressing
1) Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
2) Unfold the chicken thighs and season with salt and pepper on both sides, curl them back up and snuggle into an oven-proof dish.
3) Pour sauce over chicken, transfer to oven and cook for 45 minutes.
4) Switch heat to broiler/grill (top heat source) and cook for another 5 minutes to brown the top
Garnish with fresh chives, transfer to individual serving plates and spoon over a bit of the juice from the baking dish.
Pairs well with Healthy 'Cheat' Risotto or any other cooked grain. In fact, the juice is so yummy you will definitely want to serve this with a whole grain so that you have something healthy to soak up the sauce!

CHICKEN: make sure you use dark meat, as it's cooked in 30 min, but you can leave it longer to tenderise and develop flavours...which let's you be flexible on the timing (when the kids walk in, when your guests arrive...)
SAUCE: I used the SUPER DELUXE sauce the day I photographed this, but the BASIC or DELUXE recipes are also perfect for this dish if you happen to be short on time or ingredients.
If you've already made the sauce, then it will only take you 5 minutes to season the chicken, pour over the sauce and transfer to the oven.
Add 5-10 minutes to your prep if you need to make one of the sauces.
PS - make a double batch while you're at it, and you have it on hand for next time! :-)

follow direction above, except cook at 120C for at 1.5 TO 2 hours...longer if necessary.
NEED DINNER IN 20 MIN START TO FINISH?
Follow steps 1-3 above, and place the chicken thighs in a smoking hot pan on the stove for about 3-5 min per side (depending on thickness). Then pour in the sauce, cook for one minute to reduce/thicken and serve!
